Canopy by Hilton Says Hello to Atlanta Midtown

Hilton’s New Lifestyle Brand to Open in Atlanta’s “Heart of the Arts” Neighborhood

ATLANTA and MCLEAN, Va. – Feb. 1, 2017 – Hilton (NYSE: HLT), Greystar Real Estate Partners, Concord Hospitality Enterprises Company and Whitman Peterson announced today development plans for Canopy by Hilton Atlanta Midtown. The project, featuring Hilton’s new hotel brand that redefines the lifestyle hotel category, has broken ground and is scheduled to open in summer 2018. The property will provide a comfortable stay for guests in search of thoughtful local experiences in Atlanta’s vibrant Midtown neighborhood.

Located at 1414 West Peachtree Street, the 176-room hotel, which includes four spectacular suites, will offer 3,000 square feet of innovative, flexible meeting space with an adjacent board room and elevated outdoor terrace. The spacious new rooms will include wood flooring, walk-in tile showers and local art highlighting Atlanta’s unique and exceptional character.

Following the brand pillars, Canopy by Hilton Atlanta Midtown will be inspired and influenced by its local surroundings, and will be a natural extension of the neighborhood. Guests can expect a thoughtfully curated local food and beverage menu that will highlight Atlanta’s exceptional cuisine as well as an artisanal breakfast and Wi-Fi to be included in the room rate.

Located in the heart of Midtown, the epicenter of Atlanta’s thriving arts scene, Canopy by Hilton Atlanta Midtown will be steps away from the High Museum of Art, Ferst Center for the Arts and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. The hotel is part of a larger mixed-use project in conjunction with Greystar’s Ascent Midtown residences, a 328-unit luxury multifamily tower set to open in summer 2018. Both buildings will sit alongside some of Atlanta’s most iconic buildings, including Bank of America Plaza, the tallest building in Atlanta, and Symphony Tower, arguably the most notable fixture in the Atlanta skyline.
